Question: Why did you decide to have surgery?
Answer:
Whenever you caught a front-view glimpse of me,
it was pretty hard not to spot the little quirks in my features –
like how one side of my jaw seemed a bit more adventurous than the other,
my nose had a bit more presence,
and how my chin decided it wanted a bit of the spotlight too.
Oddly enough, these features teamed up to give me a sort of permanent scowl,

By this time, the scars under my nose and by my sideburns had faded.
My nose no longer looked swollen.
There seemed to be a bit of swelling around my chin,

which made me incredibly happy.
Any inconvenience from the surgery was a distant memory,

6 MONTHS AFTER
My rhinoplasty was done without implants,
and now my nose not only looks less bulbous but also more refined and taller – it’s quite remarkable!
